The items that are needed within Closets are:

• shampoo/conditioner (for all hair types)

• body wash

• deodorant

• skin care products

• toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss

• period products

• nail care items

• hair styling products

• gels, hairbrushes, combs and accessories

• lip care products

• laundry supplies

In consideration of health concerns, we ask for items that are unused and not expired.

Cash donations go toward buying product to restock Closets, and specific items requested via Closets. It may also go to maintaining things like our website and gas money for volunteers. Anything purchased from a wish list goes directly into Closets as soon as they need to be restocked. We frequently post about restocks on Facebook and Instagram.

Products donated can also occasionally go to one of the organizations we work with.

Every donation we get is needed and deeply appreciated. 💛

If you already have things that fit our purview and would like to donate, you can schedule a pickup with us. Contact us via Facebook private message or by email TeenCleanCloset@gmail.com to coordinate a time and place. We always try to respond to messages within the day, except on weekends.

You can also leave donations at one of our drop off locations, The Metro Detroit Youth Club or Royal Oak Senior Community Center. Donations are accepted at either front desk during business hours, just mention that your donation is for Teen Clean Closet.
